The Format Hit The Road With Straylight Run

Beginning November 9 in Anaheim, CA, Arizona-based pop duo The Format will be on the road with Straylight Run. Along the way, the band will be supporting their debut album, Interventions And Lullabies, due October 21 from Elektra. The tour will see both bands then heading out across the Midwest before winding up in Farmingdale, NY at the end of the month.


The Format is Sam Means and Nate Ruess. Barely scratching their early 20s, the duo already have a major label deal and a hook-filled pop gem of an album. If you’ve got the chance to see them, I highly recommend it.

Straylight Run just finished their first proper tour last month. The band features ex-members of Taking Back Sunday, and their website has a post asking their fans to stop going to TBS shows and heckling them. That shit is pretty funny. Check out the tour dates below.
