Two weeks ago we reported on the Interweb rumors that not only might Libertines co-founder Pete Doherty be released from prison early, he might even rejoin The Libs for the first time since May. Last night, it happened. Not twenty-four hours after being released from the pokey, Pete joined Carl Barat and the rest of Libertines mates on stage in Chatham, England. The band ripped through a 17-song set in front of just 200 fans, to an uproarious response. Whether this is a one-off event or a full return to the band for Pete is unknown, but for one night, all was well in the soap opera world of The Libertines.
