Sea Ray Seeing Stars With New Album, Tour

Last night, New York’s Sea Ray kicked off a 14-date tour of the US at Black Cat in Washington, DC. The band, whose sound falls somewhere between current NYC “it” bands like Interpol and Longwave, and classic acts like The Church and Echo & The Bunnymen, released their second LP, Stars At Noon, last month on Self-Starter. The band is currently traveling from DC to Charlotte, NC, where they’ll be playing The Room tomorrow night. Along the tour route, Sea Ray will play dates with Mojave 3, Ted Leo + The Pharmacists, The Eaves, and The Heavenly States.

The band also kicked off a commercial specialty radio campaign over the weekend with the first single from Stars At Noon, “Quiver.” Check out an MP3 of the track here. See the tour dates below.
