Back before the White Stripes rise to greatness and the ascendance of the garage rock scene, there was a little English band mixing blues with trunk load of influences and nuances, producing a sound all their own – Gomez. Those five English boys are headed back to our shores in the beginning of next year to remind you of their stoned-out blues rock skills. Although they do not have a new album in the bag, they are still coming over for a tour that initiates on January 19 in Boston and rolls through a February 10 gig in Anaheim. There are nine days between the Anaheim date and the one prior, so look for potential gigs to be added in SF, Portland, Seattle or San Diego.
