The MTV Europe awards were held last night in Edinburgh, Scotland, and like their US counterparts, there were some familiar names. Eminem, BeyoncÈ, show hostess Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake all went home with awards. However, there were some Tripwiretastic type acts in the winnerís circle, as well. Coldplay took the nod for Best Group, Sigur Ros won the award for Best Video, The White Stripes ascended to greatness in the Best Rock category and rock sensations The Darkness were named the Best MTV2 UK act. Cybersexkitten Alison Goldfrapp even was voted to have the best website. Look below for the winners list in full.
