MP3.com To Shut In December, Start Again As Info & News Site

With the recent success of the iTunes Music Store and the relaunch of Napster, itís sad to say weíve lost one of the original download sites. MP3.com will be erasing all music from their site on December 2, taking down all the Universal Records material, as well as all the unsigned band goods theyíve had up for years. But, they wonít be gone for good. CNet Networks has bought the site from Universal and they play to use the URL to host a digital music news and information site. Oh, the ever-changing climate of the Interweb.
