It was only a matter of time, but itís official now: Stone Temple Pilots have broken up. The band, who in the latter stages of their career had been in the news more often due to Scott Weilandís drug problems, have ceased to exist after years and 5 studio albums. The band just dropped Thank You, a greatest hits collection, last week. As you know, Weiland has moved on to front Velvet Revolver with a handful of ex-Guns Ní Roses types and no word as to what the STP guys will be getting up to as of yet. But, as always, as soon as we hear, youíll hear.
