2004 To Mark Return Of Charlatans UK

A bit of surprise news from the Charlatans UK camp. Although frontman Tim Burgess released a solo album, I Believe, in September and rumors had abounded that the Mancunian quintet was set to cease its existence, it seems this is not the case. Not only are the band staying together, but they plan on releasing an album in 2004. In fact, they already have three songs in the can and hope to finish another five by Christmas, with the balance of the album to be recorded in January. Letís just hope Tim has toned down his falsetto a touch for the new album.
