Bright Eyes main man Conor Oberst and My Morning Jacket lead-singer Jim James will be teaming up for a one-off, 10-date tour of the US. A spokesperson for Oberst said fans can expect a stripped down, back-to-the-roots, semi-acoustic performance. Also on board for all dates is Merge Records’ acclaimed young troubadour M. Ward
, whose music falls in the tradition of Fred Neil and Tom Waits. Billed as An Evening Of Solo & Collaborative Performances Featuring Bright Eyes, Jim James, and M. Ward, the trek kicks off in Oberst’s home base of Omaha, NE, on February 19 and runs through February 29 in Sommerville, MA.
