The Shins Put On Their Guards, Head Off To Rock Out Live

Indie faves The Shins are looking golden in the new year. They have placed in the top 10 readersí poll on The Tripwire.com and are readying a tour onslaught in January and February, bringing their catchy janglyness to indie kids all across the land. The tour kicks off in scenic Seattle with the first of two shows on January 31 and continues on through a pair of dates in NYC on Valentineís Day and the following evening. The tour is even bookended by a pair of TV appearances, with the Albuquerque gang featuring on The Late Show With David Letterman on January 13 and The Conan OíBrien Show on February 17. Itís looking like 2004 is the Shinsí indie oyster, indeed.
