Levi’s & Fader Magazine Injecting The Vibe Into Sundance

Park City is shaping up to be quite the little music scene this year. At least during The Sundance Film Festival, it will be. Not only are there the ASCAP gigs we told you about earlier this week, but now The Fader magazine and Leviís have announced their schedule of events for February 17-23 and theyíll be injecting some fun into the Utah snow, as well. On Friday, February 17, DJs Mark Ronson and Hollertronix will be on the ones and twos at a Butterfly Effect premiere party at the Palms Casino Lounge. Later in the week on Monday, for the premier party for Dig!, a film about the relationship between Courtney Taylor of The Dandy Warhols and Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, the two sponsors have lined up acoustic performances from Peter Hayes of BRMC, Miranda Lee Richards, and ex-Jonestowner Joel Gion, as well as getting Gion to step behind the decks for a fun night of booty shaking in the alpine air. With all the music and film events going on, it looks like Park City is the place to be in February 2004.
