Acts like Chemical Brothers, OutKast, The Stills, Death Cab For Cutie, Moving Units, Basement Jaxx and Broken Social Scene and amongst the acts repeatedly being spoken in hushed tones. But here are two more to add to your fire, two acts that may really fire up the kids come May 1 and 2: Flaming Lips and The Cure. Will Robert Smith and gang play a festival in Southern California for the second time in a year? Stay tuned for more as the official word becomes available.

As we brought you last week, Oasis and drummer Alan White have parted company. However, unlike last week, Whiteís medical condition does not seem to be the reason for the split. As the Oasis message board simply states, ìAlan White has been asked to leave Oasis by the other band members. There are no plans to replace Alan. The band’s scheduled recording sessions remain unaffected.î Itís the second time the Gallagher brothers have axed their sticksman, as they kicked Tony McCarroll back in 1995. No word as to a replacement, but as soon as we hear, so will you.
