During a show at the Liverpool Royal Court last night (Jan 22), prolific singer/songwriter Ryan Adams fell from the stage and fractured his wrist. A post on his website says that the singer/songwriter was looking up and didn’t see the six foot drop at the end of the stage. According to the AP, fans at the show say Adams struggled to finish out his set, but the pain forced him to quickly leave the stage, clutching his arm. The incident did happen about an hour and forty minutes into the gig though, so fans were treated to a full night of rock. The star spent the night at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and has an appointment with a specialist in London today. Publicist Richard Wootton says that it way to early to know whether the rest of his UK tour will have to be rescheduled. Ryan is also scheduled to kick off another round of US dates on March 2 in Columbia, MO. We’ll let you know if any of these dates will need to be rescheduled as well.
