Cure, Bjork To Offer Up New Takes On Their Catalog

Lots of news on the new old music front today. Alternogoth kingpins The Cure will have their first set of remastered CDs hitting shelves on April 13. Four albums will be available in stores that day, Pornography, Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, and Faith. Each of the remastered records will contain a bonus disc, but the contents of those discs is, as of yet, unknown. As with all good reissues, the Cure albums will come to us from the people at Rhino Records.

Also with new old material on the way is Bjork. It seems her on-again/off-again box set is on-again. What is in the works is a complete singles box set, containing virtually everything sheís ever done on the single format in one convenient location: each mix, single and white label all together. Of course there is no timetable for this wonderful piece of collectorís dream material, but as we hear more, youíll hear more. Isnít that the way it works around here?
