UK South Coast guitar mavens Clearlake are finally making a run at a US tour. The quartet came over for CMJ and a few dates early last fall, but thatís been the extent of their touring on their recent joint, Cedars. Since they left, however, their US single, ìAlmost The Sameî topped the Specialty charts at the end of fall and now the US seems to be ready to welcome Clearlake with open arms. Once over here, theyíll be playing East Coast and Midwest shows with The Decemberists on some dates, while theyíll open for indie stalwarts Stereolab on others. Theyíll kick their tour off in Austin at South By Southwest on March 18 and continuing the rocking & rolling until reaching Middlesbury, VT, on April 16.
