Psychedelic Welsh rockers Super Furry Animals are a busy bunch. They are currently on the road in the fine U S of A and just released their ace Phantom Power album last year. Now, theyíve commissioned remixes for an entire record of rejigged versions from Phantom Power. The new record, Phantom Phorce, will feature remixes of SFA songs by Beasties producer Mario Caldato, Jr., Four Tet, Brave Captain (aka ex-Boo Radleys man Martin Carr), Killa Kella, and Sean OíHagan of The High Llamas. The CD, which is being released on the bandís own Placid Casual imprint, will be available on the bandís UK tour or in shops from April 12.
