Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead, Dizzee Rascal, and Kings Of Leon took home some of the spoils at last nightís NME Awards, held at Londonís Hammersmith Palais. Scottish upstarts Franz Ferdinand played live at the event and took home the Philip Hall Radar Award. Radiohead and KOL were double winners, the former taking the Best Video award for ìThere Thereî and the Best Album for Hail To The Thief, while the Americans got the nod for Best New Band and Best International Band. And, as is fitting for an album as groundbreaking as Dizzee Rascalís Boy In Da Corner, Dizzee left with the Fuck Me! Award For Inspiration. Other winners included the imploding Queens Of The Stone Age, The White Stripes, Ozzy Osbourne and Lord Of The Rings ñ Return Of The King. A full listing of winners follows.
