UK Faves The La’s Tipped To Reform

Rumors are flying about that much-loved UK songsmiths The Laís may be reuniting. The quartet, who featured mercurial frontman Lee Mavers, as well as future Cast frontman John Power, released a brilliant self-titled album in 1990, featuring the hits ìThere She Goesî and ìTimeless Melody,î but soon disappeared amongst rumblings of heroin addiction and inter-band strife. Power went on to form Cast and Mavers struggled with his demons. However, now news is being spread that the pair are working together again on new material. The duo has been seen out and about in their home of Liverpool and are said to be writing new music and even planning gigs. More news as it becomes, uh, news.
