Cave-In Hard At Work On New Album

Rock quartet Cave-In have spent the past few weeks in Boston demoing tracks for their second RCA album. Working with producer Andrew Schneider, who worked with the band on their 2002 Tides Of Tomorrow EP, the band have cranked out seven new songs. According to Billboard, the songs “Prognosis,” “Believe In Doubt,” “The World Is In Your Way” and “Screaming In Your Sleep” are all amongst the new creations. The band will debut some of these new tracks during SXSW, as they’ll be playing at Emo’s on March 17 as part of a Hydrahead Records showcase that also includes Pelican, The Lot Six, The Bronx, and the Static Age.

Cave-In will play a few gigs on their way down to SXSW beginning March 13 in Cleveland at Pirate’s Cove and continuing to the Fireside Bowl in Chicago and the Bottleneck in Lawrence, KA, on consecutive days.

03.14.04 – Chicago, IL (Fireside Bowl)

03.15.04 – Lawrence, KA (Bottleneck)
