New PJ Harvey Record In Stores This Summer

It’s been almost four years since the lovely Polly Jean Harvey dropped the acclaimed album Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea, and fans are more than ready for some new material. Thankfully, the wait is almost over. PJ Harvey will release her sixth, as-yet-untitled new album this summer, reports Rolling Stone. While an official release date has not yet been given, we do know that the album finds Harvey working once again with drummer Rob Ellis, with whom she teamed on Stories. A few of the track titles have also been announced, including “Who The Fuck?,” “Shame,” and “The Life And Death Of Mr. Badmouth.”

A full fledged tour is expected to come in support of the forthcoming release this summer, but as of right now, only a pair of European dates are scheduled. The first is a May 29 headlining gig at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and the second is a show in Paris on June 23 at the Zenith. We’ll keep you posted on all things Harvey. Stay tuned.
