As was announced a few weeks back, Morrissey will be curating the yearly Meltdown festival in London. The event, which has been planned in the past by David Bowie, Lee ìScratchî Perry, UK radio legend John Peel and Scott Walker will most likely featured a live appearance from Moz himself. Also set to appear over the June 11-27 time period are Scottish buzz band Franz Ferdinand, Sparks (Morrissey was in the Sparks fanclub growing up), Elton John and a reformed New York Dolls, another act that any Smiths fan worth his salt can tell you that Moz is a huge admirer of. If youíre in the UK in June, head for the South Bank Centre and let your Morrissey worship begin.
