Josh Homme Gets In A Bar Fight In NYC

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman/Eagles Of Death Metal drummer Josh Homme got in a mash up in the East Village early Tuesday morning, according to a report in the New York Post. The multi-talented rocker had ventured over to Niagara after a gig with Eagles at the Mercury Lounge. Homme reportedly had words with another man at the bar. The discussion quickly escalated into a full fledged brawl, with Homme winding up on the receiving end of several punches. He must have gotten the worse end of the deal, as the band’s show in Philadelphia that night (April 6) was cancelled. I did see The Eagles Of Death Metal on Conan last night and Homme not only looked fine, but he, and the rest of the guys rocked. The band, which also features Millionaire’s Timmy VanHamel and Jesse Hughes (Homme’s long-time hometown friend), dropped their debut album, Peace Love And Death Metal, last month. It rules.
