Monday Express-2005 Coldplay Tour w/Echo? Lemonheads Back?

With Coldplay already having announced they are taking the remainder of 2004 off from touring, the rumors are already kicking in for 2005. NME is reporting that not only are the London quartet making early plans to bring the rock worldwide in 2005, but that theyíve asked a special crew along to support them: Echo & The Bunnymen. After Echo frontman Ian McCulloch made acquaintance with Coldplay during the bandís recording of their last album, this is a very believable rumor. Letís just hope it comes to fruition.

Speaking of good rumors we hope come to fruition, there is also talk of a band reunion that might make a few people around here happy. A reforming of The Lemonheads is being mentioned in hushed tones. The website for Punk.bz is claiming that not only is the band coming back together, but theyíll be playing a string of gigs in South America next month. No confirmation from any label sources at this time, but weíll leave you with the happy thoughts that it could actually happen.
