Rock bands have plenty of time to “chill” on the road as they crisscross the country in giant tour buses and The Strokes are no exception. Through their mutual love and respect for one another, The Strokes and their favorite road trip time-killer, Xbox, have teamed up for the next Xbox Game With Fame promotion. Done in the past with the likes of OutKast and Hoobastank, Game With Fame gives fans from all over the world a chance to play Xbox games (via Xbox Live) against some of the music industry’s biggest stars. The Strokes will take up the challenge on April 27 from 3-5pm (Central Time) and will be using the gamertag “newyorkcitycops.” Pass the info along to friends or listeners (if you’re on the air), or just challenge the band yourself and see if you can’t ace the pants off of Fab in Top Spin or jack a home run off of Julian in ESPN Major League Baseball.
