US Marines in Fallujah have been blasting AC/DC’s “Shoot To Thrill” at ear piercing volume in an attempt to draw insurgents out of their homes. According to NME, our troops are pairing the killer Australian rock with insulting Arabic messages in hopes to break the nerves of their enemy. The US has been using this technique for a few years now, but what I don’t get is how do they know that the Muslim rebels aren’t fans of AC/DC? I mean, what’s not to like? Last year, when the US military used Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” as torture for Iraqi captives, Lars “I still hate Napster” Ulrich got super pissed. AC/DC have yet to make a comment.
