Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins issued an interesting little news tidbit on KROQís Kevin & Bean Show yesterday morning. Evidently, Hawkins will be undergoing throat surgery to fix an acid reflux problem, the issue that caused the cancellation of the bandís gigs earlier on their US tour. The band is currently off the road for a month and Justin decided this time was as good as any to have the work done. The problem is, they arenít sure how it will affect his trademark falsetto. Doctors donít expect much problem from the procedure, but they are unsure as to the length of time necessary before Hawkins ceiling scraping vocals will be back to normal.
