Josh Davis, better know to the masses as DJ Shadow, will drop a live CD/DVD package called In Tune And On Time on June 15 through Geffen Records. Culled from a 2002 concert at London’s Brixton Academy, the set features a 20-track CD boasting tracks from U.N.K.L.E., Blackalicious, and Handsome Boy Modeling School. Included on the DVD are four additional tracks and a sampler battle between Cut-Chemist, Jurassic 5’s DJ Nu-Mark and Shadow himself taped at the Mayan Theater in LA. Of course, a DVD wouldn’t be complete without your standard behind-the-scenes footage and an artist interview. Thankfully, those are both included with In Tune And On Time.
According to Billboard, DJ Shadow is also selling a DVD that sports tunes from his six-date tour with Cut Chemist in which the pair spun only music from rare seven inches. Called Product Placement On Tour, the DVD is available on DJ Shadow’s official website for $25.
