In “man, I wish I was there to see this” news, NME reports that Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos and guitarist Nick McCarthy butted heads with one of Eminem’s bodyguards behind the scenes at a German chart show. Apparently, Em’s bodyguard “snapped” at Kapranos and tried to move him on his way backstage. The “Take Me Out”-singing rising star clearly didn’t like the muscle-bound henchman’s tone and said, “Says who!?” before starting the tussle. As any good bandmate should, McCarthy then ran over and clocked the bodyguard in the face just in time for security to break it up. If we’re lucky, maybe it’ll all be captured for the “behind the scenes” portion of a future Franz Ferdinand DVD release. One can only hope.
