Super serious rocker/author/actor/ Henry Rollins will soon be able to add radio DJ to his list of credentials. On Monday, May 17, from 7:00-9:00 PM, Rollins will take control of LA’s Indie 103.1 airwaves, offering opinions on a variety of subjects and spinning records from his personal collection. According to Billboard, the program is expected to become a weekly part of the station’s programming beginning June 7. Rollins will also do his part to lift the spirits of our fighting men and women this month, as he has just signed on take part in a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour of the Persian Gulf. In case you didn’t know, May is National Military Appreciation Month. Just for fun, it’s also Better Hearing & Speech Month, Clean Air Month, Family Support Month, Get Caught Reading Month, International Dental Awareness Month, Medical Orphans Month andÖ nah, I’ll just stop there.
