A tag team event will soon be heading to a major metropolitan area near you. If you like guitar music, especially guitar music played by the British, you could do much worse than the pending Oceansize and McClusky jaunt. The two label mates will embark on their first proper North American tours, after having played a handful of dates in the States prior, at festivals like CMJ and SXSW. Both bands are supporting records, with Oceansizeís excellent guitar-wrangling debut Effloresce, in all its triple-axe glory, finally hitting shelves today, while McClusky also release a new album this very day, their fourth, the Steve Albini-produced the difference between me and you is that iím not on fire (what a great title!). The two-and-a-half week jaunt will initiate in Seattle on June 4 and will continue through until a June 22 date in the Big Apple. Get out and watch the rock!
