The French Kicks To Play Celebratory Homecoming Gig, For Free

Brooklyn-based indie pop hipsters The French Kicks are wrapping up a month-long North American tour with On The Speakers on Saturday in Montreal. They then have a summer of one-off shows planned, including a performance at the Great Bamboozle festival in Asbury Park, NJ on June 6. When not performing, StarTime label boss Isaac Green says of the band, “I think they’re also going to take some long naps.” Ahh, the life of a rock star. To celebrate the return home from their grueling cross-country rock road trip, The French Kicks will play a free hometown gig at the Virgin Mega Store in NYC on June 3rd. The band plugs in at 6pm sharp, so don’t be late.

The French Kicks latest effort, The Trial Of The Century, will be released in Europe in September, so we’d expect some sort of European tour to happen at some point this fall, unless napping gets in the way.
