The Vines Back Out Of Incubus Tour

Aussie rock act The Vines were scheduled to kick off an extensive tour of the US with rock powerhouse Incubus later this month, but according to a report in NME, the band has now backed out. A spokesperson for the Vines told the UK music mag, “The decision to cancel the tour has been made for the band to take a break and deal with mental and physical exhaustion issues they currently face. The band would like to thank their fans and everyone close to them for their continued support and understanding.” The Vines foreshadowed the Incubus tour cancelation a couple of weeks ago when they backed out of a gig in Sydney, apparently due to a not-so-great show a few days before. As far as we know, the band is not breaking up or taking an extended hiatus or anything along those lines. They’re just taking a little break. We wish them a speedy recovery.
