Courtney Love Cancels Tour, Legal Problems To Blame

Fans of Courtney Love might have seen this one coming, but now it’s official. Courtney Love has “postponed” her forthcoming tour, scheduled to kick off this Friday in Providence, RI, due to her current legal struggles. According to E! Online, the official word from Love camp is that the call to postpone the tour was made by Love’s attorneys, who are obviously looking to avoid any new legal problems that might influence her current cases. She’s reportedly working on a new tour route for later this summer, but nothing is set in stone just yet. Love reps deny that the tour has been cancelled outright.

Last Friday, Love surrendered to LA police for her latest run in with the law – an assault on 32-year-old Kristin King with a flashlight and glass bottle. She was later released on $55,000 bail.
