The Fever Extend US Tour Run

With a very successful run at commercial specialty radio well underway, the New York City punk/dance/rock explosion known as The Fever have decided to extend their current tour through the middle of August, joining a West Coast run with Moving Units. The Fever are touring in support of their debut album, Red Bedroom, which was released via Kemado Records in May. The band has been on the road since mid June, bringing their no-holds-barred rock to the breadbasket of America (that’s the Midwest for all you costal residents). After a short holiday break, The Fever are getting things rolling again with two shows supporting Electric Six at the North Star in Philly on Thursday night and at Maxwell’s in Hoboken on Friday. Those of you headed to the Siren Music Festival this weekend will be able to catch them on Saturday as well.

The second leg of The Fever’s summer tour run will kick off on July 30 (my birthday, and yes, presents will be gladly accepted) in Santa Barbara, CA. Most of the band’s nine or ten-date West Coast romp will be supporting Moving Units, but at least two will be headlining gigs. Read on for the full details.
