So well-received were they at South By Southwest this year (was that ye olde English right there? Am I chanelling Yoda?), that Trash Can Sinatras are readying another trip to North America. For anyone that saw the Scottish tunesmiths in March, at the rainy outdoor show sharing the bill with The Cooper Temple Clause or one of their other Austin appearances, you already know the quality of which I speak. The rest of you need not worry ñ the bandís time away did nothing to harm their songwriting prowess or melodic powers. Both are still abundant in Trash Can tunes, as will be proven on August 31 as their record Weightlifting is released in the US via spinART. Not only that, but if you catch them on their short North American jaunt, you can see their glory for yourself.
