Joseph Arthur Inks To Vector, New Album Due In Fall

Big Apple songsmith extraordinaire Joseph Arthur has completed work on his next album and has jumped ship to another label, to boot. Our Shadows Will Remain will hit shelves this fall via Arthurís new stable, Vector Recordings. The record is his first since 2002ís Redemptionís Son and his first away from the Real World label that released his first three records. Our Shadows was recorded in NYC and New Orleans and has helped Arthur channel some of the difficulties in his life. He told Billboard.com that those problems ìdefinitely seeped into the material. But I think struggle is good. It makes things feel necessary, you know? Art borne out of necessity has more power to it.î Amen, brother. Amen.
