A reunited Helmet has just announced the itinerary for its first tour in seven years, reports Billboard. With a new album dubbed Size Matters due out on September 14 through Interscope, which is already getting support from alternative specialty radio, Helmet will take to the road three days after its release (September 17) beginning at Atlanta’s Cotton Club. Currently, 28 dates have been set in stone, but more are expected to be added before all is said and done.
After a five year hiatus, founding member and frontman Page Hamilton has reformed Helmet with guitarist Chris Traynor (who toured with the band before their 1999 disbanding), ex-White Zombie drummer John Tempesta and Frank Bello, formerly of Anthrax. Check out the current tour itinerary below.
