Biking Accident Forces Helmet Tour/Album Postponement

Helmet fans have had to wait seven years for their favorite band to go on tour and it seems that, contrary to popular belief, they’re going to have to wait just a bit longer. Page Hamilton, founding member and frontman of hard rock act Helmet has taken a spill on his mountain bike and broken his collar bone. The band was scheduled to hit the road in support of their new album, Size Matters, on September 17, but that will no longer be the case. Due to the injury, Helmet’s impending tour will not kick off until sometime in early October. Not coincidentally, the release date of Size Matters has been moved from September 14 to October 5. Once the new tour schedule gets worked out, we’ll let you know.
