Dave Grohl Reporting For Duty

Foo Fighter frontman Dave Grohl is taking the obvious route when it comes to displaying his politics. He wants Dubya out. Earlier this month he joined Democtaric candidate John Kerry on the “Believe In America” tour in Milwaukee, meeting voters while playing impromtu acoustic appearances. We have the picture to prove it. The song “My Hero” was played in Kerry’s honor, with Grohl adding, “I think they got what I was trying to say with my song.” This is not the first time for Grohl, who is an ardent supporter of the Kerry campaign, to lend his support. He was also at an earlier LA rally playing alongside Tenacious D and Liz Phair at the Henry Ford Theatre.

In record news, the Foo Fighters have their song “Gas Chamber” appear on the Rock Against Bush, Vol. 2 album, out now on Fat Wreck Chords. It’s currently residing in the Number One position on the Tripwire Top30 Chart.
