Classic Pixies Reissued On Vinyl

All hail the grand return of The Pixies. After years of dreaming of the day that Frank Black, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal, and David Lovering would perform together again, our wishes have come true. The latest news from The Pixies camp is that 4AD is re-releasing their first three albums on vinyl. According to MTV, they are using heavyweight 180-gram vinyl, which should make any collector drool with excitement. 1987’s Come On Pilgrim, 1988’s Surfer Rosa, and 1989’s Doolittle are all to be reissued on this fat vinyl. The releases all include the original artwork, except for Doolittle, which will now also include a lyric insert. After being out of print for quite some time, fans finally have a reason to wipe the dust off their turntables and annoy their neighbors. Head over to the official 4AD site to snag your very own. The Pixies are currently touring the nation so don’t miss out. Check out Pollstar to see if they are coming to a venue near you.
