The Cure To Re-release 1979 Debut, Three Imaginary Boys

The Viagra and Cialis effect on music is taking older musicians by storm. No E.D. for Robert “Fat Bob” Smith from the Cure. Their self-titled album release in June and touring all summer only made him hungry for more. We see Rhino is re-releasing The Cure’s 1979 debut album, Three Imaginary Boys, as a Deluxe Edition series on December 7th. Compiled by Robert Smith and digitally remastered by Chris Blair at Abbey Road, this 2 CD set is a must for all Cure fans as it contains six previously unreleased songs and 15 tracks on CD for the very first time. The 16-page booklet has sleevenotes by Johnny Black plus rare and previously unseen photographs from Robert Smith’s personal archive.
