Saul Williams Hits The Road, List Of Demands Includes No Green M&Ms

One man creative wrecking crew Saul Williams will embark on the first tour in support of his new self-titled album on November 1. Beginning in Vancouver, Saul will crisscross North America bringing his unique blend of rock, hip-hop, and punk to the unsuspecting masses. As of now, confirmed dates stretch through November 26 in Dallas, but more stops will be added in mid-November. So don’t get too bummed out if he’s not coming to your town with this current batch of dates. There’s still hope!

Saul is a busy guy this week at CMJ. He played a showcase with Sonic Youth, RJD2 and Moving Units on Wednesday, sat on an Artists and Politics panel alongside John Cale and Ted Leo yesterday, and performed (again) at the uber-cool Fader Rec Room.

Today, Saul will be performing (again) at a College Day show at the Javits Center and will then head over to the studios of Air America Radio to join Janeane Garafaolo and Sam Seder on their program The Majority Report. Tune in at 7:30PM CT to check it out. Saul is one of the most interesting guys I’ve ever met and I’m sure he’ll have something worthwhile to say.
