Oh my sweet, gentle Courtney Love. Why must you throw bottles at people and then pinch their nipples? Why can’t you just be a happy drunk who would moon people rather than assaulting them? The latest in the train wreck that is Courtney Love stems from her alleged attack back in April. The story goes that she returned to the apartment of her then-boyfriend Jim Barber, where Love found Kristin King asleep on his sofa. Love grabbed a liquor bottle and threw it at King, and then threw a lit candle and pinched her breasts. She then chased her out of the apartment with a large flashlight, using it as a weapon. It may sound like a scene from a Skinamax film, at least the pinching part, but this event has Love standing trial on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Billboard, Love’s attorney Howard Weitzman claims that the case has been “grossly overcharged.” About the case, he said: “We hope this will be resolved in a way to allow her to move on with her life.” Love will appear for arraignment on November 10. Until then, she remains free on $150,000 bail. With her recent money woes, Love needs to get some cash ASAP. How about a deal with Mag-Lite?
