New Chemical Brothers Album In The Works For Early 2005

Pioneering electronic duo The Chemical Brothers will release their fifth studio album on January 25th via Astralwerks. Dubbed Push The Button, the album is the official follow up to 2002’s Come With Us, though they Chems did release a 10th anniversary retrospective album last year that included a pair of new songs with rapper K-OS and The Flaming Lips. The band’s new offering will again feature some high profile collaborations, as the first single, “Galvanize”, will feature hip hop legend Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest fame. The commercial release of the “Galvanize” single is set for January 17, but if you’re one of the lucky few who receives the Player, you’ll likely be hearing it much earlier than that.

The Chemical Brothers will be performing as part of Australia and New Zealand’s Big Day Out tour early next year. According to Billboard an extensive tour in support of Push The Button is expected latter next year.
