Finally, we have some great news to report from the Dandy Warhols. The world’s population went up yesterday morning with the arrival of Matilda Louise McCabe. We have watched Zia expand to the point of nearly popping, and now she is officially a mommy. Come on everybody, say “awwwwwww!” This message was posted on the official Dandy’s site: “Hey everyone, I wanted to pass on the news that Matilda come into the world at 5:12 this morning (Peter’s birthday). Long labor but Zia was a total trouper. Tildy Lou is 8lbs 9oz and everyone is doing well.” You have to admit, Tildy Lou is one cute name. With the genes she is inheriting from Zia and Travis, they may have spawned the greatest musician of all time. Can you say child prodigy?
Besides giving birth to babies, the Dandy Warhols have also been preparing to give birth to a new album. As of October, they were finishing up the recording process and will be mixing soon. No word of a release date yet, but hopefully we will have more information before long. To get a quick Warhols fix, run out and catch a screening of the rockumentary Dig!
