Depeche Mode Back In Action For New Album?

Loyal fans of Depeche Mode will be happy to know that all of those break-up rumors can finally be put to rest. According to the band’s official website, the group will be gathering in Santa Barbara early next month with producer Ben Hillier (Elbow, Blur, Tom McCrae, Clinic) to begin discussing some ideas for their next album. After the holiday break, they will get down to business, hit the studio and hopefully we’ll have a brand new Depeche Mode album by the end of 2005. That’s all the info available at the moment, but we’ll let you know if there are any more revelations in the coming weeks.
