Want To Be A Drummer For The Ordinary Boys?

So you didn’t make it to the final round of P. Diddy’s Making The Band, and American Idol proved to be a mistake. Well fret no more as you now have another chance to be all that is sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

A statement issued today confirmed that Charles Stanley, drummer and founding member of The Ordinary Boys, has parted ways and is no longer a member of the band. No specific reason was given as to the split, however according to XFM an immediate replacement is needed. The statement reads:

“The Ordinary Boys have parted company with original founding member and drummer Charles Stanley. The band are currently in the studio recording new songs with Stephen Street and will be auditioning for the vacant role with the intention of announcing the new drummer before Christmas. The new drummer’s first appearance is likely to be on the forthcoming UK tour in February 2005. The band would like to express their best wishes to Charles in the future”

Prospective candidates to take over Stanley’s recently vacated position are being told to send their name, address, age, phone number and photograph to the following address:
