The Raveonettes New Record Details

Danish duo The Raveonettes have announced details of their follow up album to 2003’s Chain Gang Of Love, plus a March UK tour. Word on the street from our UK spies is that it’s deadly. Sharin Foo and Sune Rose Wagner have spent the last eight months recording in various New York studios, which has the band collaborating with such old-schoolers as Suicide’s Martin Rev, the Velvet Underground’s hand drumming maestro Maureen Tucker and “Wall of Sound” darling Ronnie Spector of the Ronettes. According to DrownedInSound, the new as-yet untitled record will be “virtually fuzz free”. Is this a good thing? Get them some Jesus and Mary Chain records, stat.

In addition to the the buzz about the new record, the Raveonettes will play the following UK dates. All our UK Tripwire-ers enjoy!
