N*E*R*D To Split?

Would a nerd by any other name smell as sweet? Rap superstars N*E*R*D are reportedly on the verge of splitting up following a series of feuds with their record label, reports FemaleFirst.co.uk. Despite modest success selling over 750,000 copies of their first two albums, N*E*R*D stars Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay “You’ve never heard of me” Hayley are not so happy with the way their career is being handled by Virgin Records. A source says, “Both Pharrell and Chad like complete control over everything they do and they’re at their wits end with Virgin. They’ve been trying to come to a solution but now they want out.

Although they have managed to produce hits for others, the three have yet to hit paydirt with one of their own. Maybe they should save one of their good ones for themselves next time. The source added, “All three guys have a great chemistry together, so they’d probably come out under a new name, but it looks as though it’s the end for the original band.” Look for the Potsy Webber inspired D*R*E*N soon! For those who got that reference, you are a nerd. Good luck.
