New Ivy Album Due In March

Veteran indie pop trio Ivy will release their fifth full length studio album on March 1 through Nettwerk America. Dubbed In The Clear, the album features guest appearances from A Perfect Circle/ex-Smashing Pumpkin guitarist James Iha and Girls Against Boys’ Scott McCloud. According to Billboard, UK-based knob twisting expert Steve Osborne (New Order, Happy Mondays) mixed the album, marking his first New York studio session.


Expect a tour in support of the album sometime next year, though specific dates have yet to be confirmed. In other Ivy news, they band has contributed a track to Nettwerk’s new Christmas album, Maybe This Christmas Tree, which we are actually giving away copies of here.
